THE BRAGGING rights are with Glenmore today, Saturday, following yesterday's Michael Lyng Motors fourth round Intermediate Hurling clash between Mooncoin and Glenmore.
It was a tight and hard fought game and at the finish it was Glenmore who had the advantage on the scoreboard with a score of 2-12 to 0-14.
City club Dicksboro stayed on course for promotion with a good 2-14 to 1-12 win over bottom club Thomastown.
ON SUNDAY Kilkenny face Anthony Daly's Dublin in the Leinster Senior Hurling Final at Croke Park. It is Daly's first season in charge of Dublin's hurlers.
This is certainly progress for the Dubs as they also performed admirably in the League and maintained their division 1 status for the coming season.
KILKENNY meet Galway in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final in O'Connor Park, Tullamore on Saturday at 7pm. This game is unique as Galway compete in their first ever Leinster Hurling Semi-Final against the defending All-Ireland Champions.
