Fr McGrath Centre ends year on high note

THE Fr McGrath Centre at St Joseph’s Road, Kilkenny, ended 2009 on a high note when staff and children came together for an inter-denominational choir service at the centre.

The service was led by Fr Jim Murphy’s of St Canice’s Parish.

 

The choir members were from several local churches and were accompanied by guitarist John Cassidy. Soloist was Aine Prendergast from Clara. Co-ordinator was Kay B.

In the choir were Therese Butler, Helen Connolly, Colette Brett, Deirdre McMahon, Liz Ruth, Roseanne O’Shea, Trish Brennan, Brenda Flynn, Anna Byrne, Michael Armstrong, Boaz, Declan Kelly, Annette Chappel, Ivan Porteus, Ger Morris, Lizzie McFarlane.
