The Mayor's Hootenanny 2009

THE Mayor's Hootenanny, an evening of music with Mayor Malcolm Noonan and friends, will take place in Kilkenny Castle on Friday December 4.

All proceeds from the evening will go to the Good Shepherd Centre, Kilkenny which provides accommodation for up to 50 homeless men a night.

Acts include Clive Barnes, members of The Barflies, Jimi and John Conroy, John Bermingham, Billy Carrigan, Little Black Wren and Davy Holland.

Tickets are €20 and go on sale on Thursday from Rollercoaster Music, Kieran Street.
