Swop yourself a new look for Christmas

IF you are looking for a new outfit for Christmas then a dress exchange event in Langton's Hotel on Thursday could be for you.

Dress exchange is a fun and budget proof way to change your look while also raising money for a good cause.

All proceeds raised from the event will help Kilkennywoman Aoife Dowling travel to Nairobi to work with The Regional Centre for Mapping Resources for Development in Africa.

Item check-in will take place from 10am to 6.30pm on Thursday. Once items are handed in they will be exchanged for colour coded cards which can later be swopped for corresponding colour coded items.

Clothes that will be accepted include dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, coats, shirts, blouses, jumpers, scarves, gloves, hats, belts and handbags.

Participants are invited to a attend a wine reception in Langton's Hotel from 6pm to 7pm before the official dress exchange takes place from 7pm to 9pm.

Changing space and assistance will be provided.

Tickets cost €15 and will be available at the door. Places are limited so particpants are advised to register online before the event.
